New design for the sign-in window

We wanted to make it easier for people to distinguish between signing in with services like Facebook, Twitter and Google as opposed to signing in with an email address and password, so we have changed the design of the sign in window.

Before the change, we noticed that some people saw the Facebook and Google logos and started typing in their Facebook email address and password in the boxes for standard user account based sign in.

By moving the two sign-in methods to their own tabs, the two methods are visually separated and people now click on the services button if they are going to sign in with their preferred service. This signs people in straight away.

It’s now a little bit smoother for people to sign in and create an account for people, in most cases, just a single click.
